Case of the Month - August 2013 - Jake's Mistake!

Jake is a 5 year old springer Spaniel, whose owner is a builder. Jake thought nothing of being on the building site and grabbing a stone to get his dad's attention. Unfortunately in August we saw Jake after he hadn't been eating or passing motions for nearly 3 days. His owner was worried that he may have a bug but unfortunately xrays confirmed that Jake had swallowed a stone in fact a rather large one!

Agfa Healthcare have blogged about us!

We have digital x-ray and state of the art ultrasound machine to help us with diagnostics. We bought our digital x-ray from Agfa, an American company and they were so impressed with our set up they wrote an article for their website and blog about us.

We are very excited as we now sponsor Llandudno football club. We have our logo pitch side and on the reserve team kits. We have lots of plans to make use of the pitch and club house and will keep you posted. This picture shows us with the ... kits and a representative from the football club, who we thought looked like Arsene Wenger. As you can tell neither of us know much about football but we are looking forward to supporting Llandudno FC so maybe see you some of you at matches ....

Well hopefully you are all having a good weekend. Saturday for us was spent at Eglwsbach show. The weather was great and we had a number of people visit us at our stall. It was lovely as we had some of our clients come and support us and we made lots of new friends especially of the 4 legged  variety. We were offering half price microchipping which proved to be more popular than we anticipated and we were very lucky to have very brave animals that didn't even cry when chipped.
So this was our stall just after we first put it up

Vet Sarah, nurse Olive and our special helper for the day Samuel getting ready for our vistors
Our first visitor was Jumble
Although maybe Jumble really came over for the bonios!

Nellie was first up to be microchipped

She was very brave but we had cuddles after to make sure we were still friends

We had lots of visitors throughout the day but non smaller than this little owl!

This little group were all part of the Kerr family and they were great. they do doggy dancing and had some amazing moves

At the end of the day vet Fiona and Samuel enjoyed the rides
and this gorgeous girl is one of our clients Kelly
