Network She New Small Business of the Year 2014

Well March 7th 2014 was International Womens day and Network She held an awards ceremony to celebrate Women in business up and down the country.Since their launch in 2008 the Network She Awards have become recognised as the platform to celebrate the success of women who mean business.

This glittering gala black tie event presents the ideal opportunity to recognise and reward the inspiring achievements of business women and women in business, who have succeeded and continue to succeed in their chosen field during such difficult, turbulent and unpredictable times.

We were thrilled to be invited along as finalists but even more thrilled when we won the new business of the year 2014. We had some stiff competition and in accepting the award Fiona thanked all our clients and staff for their support as we would be no where without them.

 

They say never work with children or animals thankfully our nurse Olive knows better!

Our Nurse Olive with her glamorous assistant Rio the Labrador visited Ysgol in Capelulo Dwygyfylchi in the Conwy valley, to talk to the reception and infants 1 class.

 

The morning started with asking the children what pets they had and if any of them had ever had an x-ray or broken something? Olive then showed the children some x-rays of broken bones and some of the unusual things animals had eaten, with the children guessing what they were
 

 

Next it  was time for the vets in waiting to have a play with the stethescopes, listen to their own hearts and then bandage their teddies
 

 

Although Rio and Olive look shattered they both had a great time and said how good the children had been!
