Case of the Month - November 2013 - 21 year old Smoky

Old Enough to Know better!

Smoky is a 21 year old cat (yes 21) that we saw at the beginning of October after being in a fight. We suspect it may have been a fox he was fighting

Have you heard of the Cinnamon Trust?

Have you ever heard of the Cinnamon Trust?

It is a great charity  for elderly and terminally ill people and their pets. We are lucky enough to see various aspects of the good work this charity does because we have clients that are volunteers and clients who are helped by volunteers. We also have a number of clients that we think would benefit from this service either as a volunteer or accepting the help of a volunteer so we thought we would try and highlight the charity a bit more.

Milly raised £500 for the CPL.

A few weeks ago we wrote about Milly a 7 year old girl that did a sponsored walk around the Orme to raise money for the cats protection league. Thanks to Milly's family for sharing this photo of her with her certificate of recognition from the cats protection. Milly had set herself the target of £365 as it costs £1 a day to feed a cat for a year. Milly set off from her home in Llandudno and walked round the Orme in a time of 2 hours 43 mins and in total raised £500 far more than she ever expected.

Case of the Month October 2013 - Gerry had a tail to tell!

Gerry is our first feline case of the month so maybe we should call him cat of the month. He is a ginger cat that adopted his owners about a year ago. Sadly Gerry definitely used up some of his nine lives as the first time we saw him at the beginning of October he was walking all hunched and dragging his tail ....
