June 2014 Case of the Month - Her name was Lola .....

Lola is an 18 month old female English bulldog. We havemet Lola before but at the end of June she was booked into have an elective cesaraean. She had initially been scanned by ultrasound (like we do in humans) and it was thought she was pregnant with 3 puppies ........

Wow we never fail to be amazed how lovely our clients are! we are very lucky! Massive thanks to Miss Chapman mum of the lovely Flanagan for these delicious cupcakes!  such talent and if anyone can't guess Flanagan is a beautiful black rabbit!

£750 raised for Colwyn Cats Protection!

Well we have totted up all the money and I am delighted to say we raised £750 for the cats protection from collecting at CATS. It was broken down to £680 collected in the buckets, £10 for the raffle and £60 by acting as ticket agents. This money will go a long way to help the charity but we are also delighted to say that 3 cats have found new homes as a direct result of publicity at the theatre.

CATS Musical Final Night (and staff outing!)

Thank you to Venue Cymru for all their support when we collected for the Cats Protection. Last night was the final night and as a staff outing we went to the show and ate the theatre restaurant. We had a great night and the show was fabulous all the actors really behaved like cats!  The ladies of the cats protection collected and I think it was our most successful night!

Winner of CATS tickets at Venue Cymru

Congratulations to Mrs Parsonage who was the winner of our raffle for two tickets to see CATS tonight. Thank you to David at Venue Cymru who donated them and thank you to everyone who bought a ticket all the proceeds go to the cats protection

Cats Protection Money Raised & Arthur

Well the collection at the theatre for the cats protection is doing very well if tonight goes as well as last night we are well on target for going over the £500 collected already mark. 

Arthur, was a stray and the cats protection paid for him to be neutered, vaccinated (after a blood sample to show he didn't have any serious illness) and flea and worm treated. Arthur was in this morning with his new owner and he is a different cat he was purring and affectionate and looks so happy! so thanks to everyone who has given their loose change already and those who haven't we will be collecting tonight and tomorrow so still time!

Cats Protection Fundraising at CATS the Musical

Well last night was the opening night for Cats the musical and it started off very popular. Venue Cymru said there were over 900 people at the show. 

Sarah and Dot Nuttall (Neutering officer for the CATS protection) were collecting and thanks to the very generous people raised £61- setting the benchmark for the rest of the collectors for the rest of the week! (the staff are quite competitive so consider the gauntlet thrown down!)

Theatre goers raved about what a great show it was so if you still haven't got your ticket to see the show there is still plenty of time!   Don't forget if you book your ticket through us the local Cats Protection get 10%

Here is our receptionist Cathy trying on our ears and whiskers ready to shake the bucket and help collect money for the Cats Protection League during the run of CATS the musical at Venue Cymru. There will be staff there most nights but we will be trying to persuade you to donate to the cats protection rather than buy an icecream!
