Case of the Month January 2015 - Felix

Felix is an 18 month old cat that we saw in January. His Owners had noticed him going into his litter tray more often than usual, but when they brought him in it was because he had become wobbly on his back legs and very lethargic. As soon as Felix came out of his basket in the middle of his abdomen we could feel something large and hard which was suspected to be his bladder. This is something we term having a blocked bladder and it is one of the true emergencies we see ...

Team Photo - new staff!

In January we sadly said goodbye to our nurse Corinna who had been with us for the last year. Corinna is going to work for  North Clwyd animal rescue a charity she has strong links with and is a dream job for her but we welcome to the practice Tanja as her replacement. Tanja spent January shadowing Corinna and is looking forward to taking over the nurse clinics especially the puppy parties.

We also welcome our new practice manager Nicola who has the dream role of managing all the team (again lets be honest who wouldn't want that job ok all of the staff and probably many more but yes we are a dream)

As you can see from the photo there are a lot of us to manage, this is the majority of us although there are still 4 people missing! (Claire C, Claire F, Carly and Sian).

We have set up a practice to be run the way we want our own pets to be treated and we welcome you all to come in even for a visit.
